I’m very excited for the second Gilead Fest taking place in Oshkosh, WI this weekend. I will be tabling there all three days. I will have reprints of both the Marat and Bat back patches, smaller patches of various designs, buttons, prints and the leftovers of the Invirness Clothing stock. Gilead Media will be selling the Badger design as a screen printed poster, as well as shirts and hoodies. Anything leftover will be put in my webstore. Hope to see some of you there!
Two new back patches are currently available in the store. The first is my illustrative reinterpretation of “The Death of Marat” originally by David ca. 1793. Cream colored ink on black canvas. The second is the “bat” design I did for the Krieghallen black metal tribute book. White ink on black canvas with a grey variant limited to 5 pieces.
Tonight I have some work showing in Los Angeles as part of a music and art exhibition called Midnite Communion. Also showing are Jas Helena (event curator), Stevie Floyd (Dark Castle, Taurus) Jef Whitehead aka Wrest (Leviathan, Lurker of Chalice) and Davide Mancini. Amarok and Funerary will be performing. This is a free event, though donations are encouraged. Unfortunately I can’t be there to attend, but if you live in the LA area please go!
I have teamed up with my friend Cannon Dill, established muralist and illustrator, to form Invirness Clothing, a new brand that showcases our individual styles as well as a collaborative spirit. The initial run involves two collaborative designs and one solo design from Cannon Dill on shirts and a hoodie. Ahead of its late Autumnal release, we’re offering all the designs early for a one-night only pop up shop at LeQuiVive gallery in Downtown Oakland this Friday, November 1st. Limited quantities of each design will be available from 7 to 10pm, and the first 30 attendees get a free art print by Cannon. Hope some of you can make it!
Stickers are back up in the webstore, The same three classic designs with “Cloven Hoov” text. $3 for 6 stickers. First 25 orders will come with a new sticker, the “moon” illustration which is 3.5” in diameter. Screen printed vinyl stickers.
I’m very pleased to share this collaboration between myself and Canada-based designer Ovate. I reworked an older illustration to be used specifically for a dress designed and sewn by Audrey Cantwell of Ovate. I feel our aesthetics mesh very well and I am very happy with the result. These dresses will be a limited run of 30 and will be available in a few hours in the Ovate Store.
Natvres Mortes Illvstration has existed for two years today. I want to extend my thanks to everyone who has supported me over the past couple of years. It’s because of you that I am able to do what I do today. Thank you.
